  If their was an 0 star I would've used it for this business customer service. Saturday evening my girlfriend picked up two cakes for our sons first birthday on Sunday and Monday. We pre paid for the cakes and asked for an simple cake design for his smash cake. What we got was an frozen chocolate blob with his name writhen sloppy.
  When we followed up today with Gary the owner on our dissatisfaction with the appearance of the two cakes he offered the solution of an refund of one cake but not the other due to the stores time being waisted. As an customer wanting to support local business it made us feel pretty much ignored. So going forward we will take our business else where and spread the word around to shop else where.

  My go-to place for birthday cake or special events. They were all booked up when I needed a cake for a baby shower. I did a few dozen cookies instead and this went over really well with guests.

  We had used Cookie Monkey many times for our company parties almost monthly but after my experience yesterday with the owner I will no longer be using them. I had order a white round cake for a baby shower for a friend who is having a boy.
  I went to pick it up and it was PINK! Bright sparking pink. I told him I had order white and this simply would not work because it was a baby shower for a boy. I asked him if he had anything else he could give me in the back or even a blank round. He said no sorry there was nothing he could do. He offered to refund the decorating charge of $15 was ALL! I was shocked! I now had a cake that was unusable and all he had to say was sorry and that he could refund the decorating charge "if" I wanted. Horrible customer service!!! Needless to say the next hours of scrambling for a replacement cake was a nightmare. Cookie Monkey we will not be using you again. Word of Mouth is everything with a business. You make amazing delicious cakes but your customer service needs some thought.
